Clear Lake Campground is excited to be part of the Tents for Troops program. Tents for Troops gives campgrounds the opportunity to show appreciation for our troops by providing free camping for active military and their families. At Clear Lake Campground, we offer 2 nights of free camping in one of our tent or RV sites (for those who have their own tent or RV). Active military who wish to stay at Clear Lake Campground should make their reservation directly through us (not through the online reservation system) by phone at 707-994-2236 or by email at hello@campclearlake.com. We are open all year and military can be accommodated any time throughout the year with advance reservations. Note that we no longer have the trailer here for use. Currently there are 15 campgrounds in California participating in Tents for Troops. We are honored to be one of them! If you know any active military who might be interested, be sure to spread the word. Find out more on the Tents for Troops web site. Clear Lake Campground is on the shore of Cache Creek, off Clear Lake. We offer fishing right from the campground, canoe and kayak rentals, a boat launch, swimming pool, lawn area and outdoor games, and a small store. Area activities include fishing in the lake, hiking, birding, biking, and wine tasting. For more about activities and events, see the activities section on our blog. The brand new Keystone trailer was delivered on July 5, 2018, by Redwood Empire RVs in Ukiah. On hand for the delivery were Ginny Craven of Operation Tango Mike, Staff Sergeant Cameron Bornowski from the US Army and Staff Sergeant Joshua McCorkle, USMC.
