CORONA UPDATE for Recreational Camping

According to the special COVID-19 edition of the North American Camping Report, sponsored by Kampgrounds of America, Inc.: "Campers and non-campers alike rank camping as the safest type of travel and RVs provide the ultimate in personal space for traveling. The health and safety concerns spiking from COVID-19 are also driving an increased interest in RV ownership."
Clear Lake Campground opens for the season on March 1 for self-contained RVs and Motor Homes and for all campers in early spring. We look forward to welcoming you with the following modifications:
Camper Guidelines
Only registered campers may be on site for the protection of all guests and staff.
Check-in is inside the Office/Store. One member from each party please. Mask required.
Social distancing…remember to stay 6 feet away from folks not in your group.
Stay home if you feel ill.
AROUND CAMP
Things look a little different around Camp. The following modifications have been made to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Office/Store…open - mask required.
Outdoor sink…added near site #2.
Seasonal Pool…open
Restrooms & Showers…open
Patio…open.
Kayak/canoe rentals…available to book online starting in spring 2023. Mask required at check in.
Camp Staff
…are receiving ongoing training on best practices during COVID-19 to help keep guests and themselves safe.
…are equipped with PPE, hand washing/sanitizing options, and practicing social distancing.
…stay home if ill.
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 local and state directives.
Between now and your next visit, stock your camper with hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, face masks, sunscreen, fishing poles and camp chairs.
